Here is what we'd recommend checking out in the area.
SWEET CREEK FALLS
You cant come to Oregon and not check out the waterfalls and forests. They are literally everywhere! Sweet Creek Falls Trail is the closest trail to Camp Lane that will take you on a mild hike to Sweet Creek Falls.
KENTUCKY FALLS
Another, larger waterfall located close to Camp Lane. This is a moderate hike through the Siuslaw National Forest that comes to the large Kentucky Falls.
PORTLAND
There is a reason we vacation here every summer. We LOVE it! The Portland area has so much to do and see...and eat...and drink! Here is a few of our recommendations:

Paley's Place - Our favorite restaurant in Portland!

Portland Pub Crawl - The best pubs, and lots of them. Tours available, or walk yourself.

Any coffee shop! DO NOT drink Starbucks while in Portland! There are so many amazing coffee shops that have some of the best coffee we have ever tasted!

Voodoo Donuts - Original shop located in Downtown (another shop is also in Eugene).
COLUMBIA GORGE
Right next to Portland is the Columbia Gorge. One of the most beautiful drives. Take the Historic Columbia River Hwy along the gorge for some of the most beautiful sites, including several large waterfalls literally right next to the road. Little parking lots are available right to the side, so you can easily drive, park, take a selfie, and drive some more. Highly recommend!
HWY 101 - THE COAST
Driving up the 101 in Oregon is breathtaking. So many beautiful spots to see along the drive. Forests, cliff-sides, tide pools, sand dunes, lighthouse, and more. You dont have to drive far to see a lot! Not far from the venue, there is Sea Lion Caves and Heceta Head Lighthouse.
